30 years of Rainbows GB

From its initial beginnings in 1992

Thanks again to Frank and Sue McDermott and Paul Cronin for their recollections.

In 1990/1 Nigel Bavidge (1944- 2010) and Sister Philomena McDermott who were both advisors for the Diocese of Leeds were trained by Suzy Yehl Marta in America. A chance meeting between Frank McDermott a Headteacher from Doncaster and Nigel Bavidge National Director (1991-2003 Chair of Trustees) of Rainbows saw the birth of Rainbows in Great Britain.
